How to make the perfect loaf

  • GLUTEN FREE
  • 80% ORGANIC BREAD MIX
  • JUST ADD WATER AND OLIVE OIL
  • 10 MINUTE PREP TIME

Preparation

  1. ln a measuring cup, combine water (exactly 2 cups + 3 tbsp.) and olive oil (exactly 2 tbsp.)
  2. Microwave on high for 1 min. to warm.
  3. Pour dry mix into a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add warmed water/oil mixture to the dry mix.
  5. Stir with spatula for 3 min. until fully combined.
  6. Lightly spray a 9"x5" loaf pan with cooking spray.
  7. Transfer the dough into the loaf pan and smooth the top with a moistened spatula.
  8. Score the top with 3 diagonal slits.
  9. Cover loosely with plastic wrap.
  10. Let dough rise for 30 min.


Baking

  1. While dough is rising, preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Place a cookie sheet pan on lowest oven rack.
  3. After rising, remove plastic wrap and place the loaf pan directly on the cookie sheet in the oven.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 30 min.
  5. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake for another 45 min.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately remove the bread from the loaf pan.
  7. Turn off oven.
  8. Place the bread (without the pan or cookie sheet) directly on the middle oven rack.
  9. Leave the oven door slightly open and let the bread cool inside for 1 hr.
  10. Remove from oven and allow bread to cool on a cooling rack at room temperature for 3 hrs. before slicing.
