How to make the perfect loaf
- GLUTEN FREE
- 80% ORGANIC BREAD MIX
- JUST ADD WATER AND OLIVE OIL
- 10 MINUTE PREP TIME
Preparation
- ln a measuring cup, combine water (exactly 2 cups + 3 tbsp.) and olive oil (exactly 2 tbsp.)
- Microwave on high for 1 min. to warm.
- Pour dry mix into a large mixing bowl.
- Add warmed water/oil mixture to the dry mix.
- Stir with spatula for 3 min. until fully combined.
- Lightly spray a 9"x5" loaf pan with cooking spray.
- Transfer the dough into the loaf pan and smooth the top with a moistened spatula.
- Score the top with 3 diagonal slits.
- Cover loosely with plastic wrap.
- Let dough rise for 30 min.
Baking
- While dough is rising, preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place a cookie sheet pan on lowest oven rack.
- After rising, remove plastic wrap and place the loaf pan directly on the cookie sheet in the oven.
- Bake at 400°F for 30 min.
- Reduce heat to 350°F and bake for another 45 min.
- Remove from oven and immediately remove the bread from the loaf pan.
- Turn off oven.
- Place the bread (without the pan or cookie sheet) directly on the middle oven rack.
- Leave the oven door slightly open and let the bread cool inside for 1 hr.
- Remove from oven and allow bread to cool on a cooling rack at room temperature for 3 hrs. before slicing.
