Our Story

When the COVID pandemic hit in 2020, our founder found comfort and creativity in the simple joy of baking. Like many, he dove headfirst into the sourdough craze. Over the next four years, he experimented with unique recipes featuring unique combinations of herbs, fruits, and spreads. He turned simple loaves into something much more special.
Then, in 2024, everything changed.

A family member went gluten-free after being diagnosed with autoimmune disorder. Suddenly, she was struggling with the same frustrating reality millions of Americans know all too well: gluten-free breads in grocery stores are expensive, bland, and borderline inedible. And like most people, she wasn’t a professional baker who could follow a complicated recipes to try whip up a good gluten-free alternative.

So David went back to his kitchen—but this time, he was on a mission. Performing hundreds of recipe experiments over several months, David perfected a gluten-free bread mix that anyone could make at home, no experience necessary. It has to be easy, and it had to work EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

What started as a labor of love became something much bigger.
Love that Bread was born to serve millions of people navigating gluten-free living due to Celiac disease, gluten intolerance or allergies, autoimmune conditions, or just due to personal choice.

We believe those who go gluten-free deserve more than what grocery stores have to offer. No one should have to pay double for a dry, dense, disappointing bread.
